As I was trying to figure out what posts I should do I saw that a lot of people have been doing the best books that they read and their biggest disappointments for 2018. So that looked like a good idea to me. I picked the top 5 that stood out to me when I looked back over what I read last year. and here are the 5 best books that I read in no particular order.
Soulless by Gail Carriger | Goodreads
Maus I and II by Art Spiegelman | Goodreads
The Strange Case of the Alchemist’s Daughter by Theodora Goss | Goodreads
Monstress, Vol. 1 and 2 by Marjorie M. Liu and Sana Takeda | Goodreads
A Holiday by Gaslight: A Victorian Christmas Novella by Mimi Matthews | Goodreads
It was not easy to pick just 5 so I took the ones that stood out to me the most.

I haven’t read any of these, but the covers of Montress make me want to run out and buy them, read them, and hang them on my wall. Ha ha. Thanks for the recommendations!
