I have a friend who has an uncle whos health is quickly deteriorating, but one of the things that he still enjoys is hearing about other parts of the world. If you have the inclination to write an old veteran a note about your part of the world, maybe a postcard with a picture, it’d be pretty awesome for him.
He’s a fan of hunting and fishing. He also loves food and cooking, but he can’t eat much or cook anymore. If you can send him a message just to say “hello from another part of the world,” his family would be grateful.

The from who can be your name or what ever you want to put down. Sense of humor I am not sure since I have not had the pleasure of meeting him myself.
