My Favorite books of 2020

Good Day Everyone!!

I had so many issues making the list of my favorite reads of 2020. There were many cases that I really loved multiple books in series but to keep this list from being really long I only included one book from that series.

I decided to put these books in the order that I read them.

Book Haul: December 2020

Good Morning.

The last book haul of 2020. This was quite a year. In the month of December received 1 book from publishers, 11 books for Christmas, 1 book from giveaways, I grabbed 1 for free, I was approved for 1 on a Galley site, 1 from subscription boxes, 1 was preorders, and I purchased 3. I just have to add that I have already read the three books that I purchased. I count that as a win for me!

Hello you wonderful people.

Welcome to my October wrap-up. I know that I have not been consistent with these, but 2020 has been just one fire after another. So I am trying to make an effort to deliver constant posts to you guys.

I am very happy with what I read this month. I created a TBR for October even though I am a mood reader for a few reasons. 1) I have a number of books for reviews that I want to try to get finished before the end of the year, 2) I decided to do a month long read-a-thon for October because it just sounded like fun, and 3) I had quite a few of library holds that were coming to me in October. I was able to finish all of my books but 1, however I had to add a book to my TBR that was sent by an author for a tour in November.

What I thought
I received a copy of this book from the Author, in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I really like the author’s writing, but to be honest I felt a little lost and just recently found out why. These characters have another trilogy that happens before this book. Totally my fault for not doing enough research before I agreed to read this one. Even with feeling a little lost, I enjoyed the story. I love the strength that Nazafareen has. I don’t know how I would handle waking up and not remembering anything about who I was before. I loved how the author intertwined creatures from mythologies together in this world.

I enjoyed this one enough that I am going to go back and read the first trilogy and then come back to this one.

My Kinda November 2020 TBR

I am not sure how it happened but I stuck to my Kinda October TBR and only did not finish one book. That was only due to having to swap it out for a one that had a review due sooner. Since this worked out so well last month I am going to try it again.

I once again have a handful of books that I need to read for reviews that are coming up. So this will help me keep this list on my mind.

I have created a list of books that I am giving a last chance to read. I really wanted to read these books at one point and they kept getting pushed back so now I need to pick one a month and we will see if I like them or not. My goal is to pick up at least one of these a month until there are none left on the list.

There are also some books on my TBR that I want to read, however, I keep pushing them back because I feel like I have to read other things first. I know it doesn’t make since but I am working on it. In my Just Because section I am adding some of these books so that I am making them the priority.
